Babar shrugged aside comparison with Kohli

Pakistan middle-order batsman Babar Azam has allegations touching the side in comparison with Indian star Virat Kohli both different players.

The midfielder is 22-year-old, who has been compared to many times the right-Indian batsman for his elegance and consistency, while speaking to reporters at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, said his focus on the production performance is good for Pakistan.

"I am different and Kohli is different," Babar said in response to a journalist's question. "My focus is on delivering for Pakistan and that is my primary goal."

Karachi Kings star batsman further said that the group focused on improving the levels of 50-over format.

"The atmosphere was a very good team," he said. "During that time, as a group, our focus is to improve our levels of ODI format, where the number eight."

Earlier, Pakistan middle-order batsman Umar Akmal said that the man was right to compare the Indian batsman 28-year-old would Babar.

"Compare Kohli and Babar, who made three," said Akmal. "He is in great form so you can compare him with Babar not me."

Also, the Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur praised Babar calling remarkable player. He then called him as a good as Virat.

"He's a young gun who will be an exceptional player," said Arthur. "I'll go as far to say, the same year, I think, he was like Virat Kohli, which I know what honor but he."
