Lahore: Fast Bowler Mohammad Irfan confirmed here Monday that the bookies had contacted him but was not able to report incidents of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for his domestic problems.
Irfan recorded his video statement before the Anti-Corruption Unit PCB's (ACU) in relation to the investigation board into allegations of corruption in the second edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
I fast Bowler said he became mentally because of the illness of his parents so he could inform the board about the bookies who had contact match-fixing.
One player Shahzaib Hasan who was in, and Irfan, questioning the PCB will appear before the ACU tomorrow.
Mohammad Irfan represented Islamabad United Shahzaib played Karachi Kings in the second PSL in Dubai last month but both cleared to play the rest of their games.
ACU PCB's after recording the statements of both the players will determine whether to charge them or not, PCB spokesman informed.
